Business Opportunities FAQ
Get answers about finding, posting, and managing business opportunities on ATN, and how to connect with potential partners, buyers, suppliers and investors worldwide.
01What types of business opportunities are listed on ATN?
ATN Business Opportunities is designed to help businesses discover and present different types of commercial opportunities.
Listings may include requests for products or services, buyer and supplier opportunities, distribution and partnership opportunities, manufacturing or sourcing needs, project participation, investment-related opportunities, and other business collaboration opportunities supported by ATN.
The exact categories available may expand as the ATN platform develops.
Users should review each opportunity carefully and conduct their own evaluation before entering into a business relationship or transaction.
02Do I need to be a member to access business opportunities?
Visitors may be able to browse selected Business Opportunities that ATN makes publicly available.
Membership may be required for additional functions such as posting an opportunity, responding through certain ATN tools, managing submissions, accessing member contact or participation features, or using other member-specific capabilities.
03How do I search for business opportunities?
Use the Business Opportunities search and available filters to find opportunities relevant to your company.
Depending on the information available in the launch version, users may search or filter by criteria such as opportunity type, industry, country or market, products/services, or keywords.
Selecting an opportunity opens its detail page, where the user can review the description, requirements, posting company information when available, relevant dates, and the appropriate next action.
04How do I post a business opportunity on ATN?
Eligible members can begin from the Business Opportunities section or their Member Dashboard and select Post an Opportunity.
Follow these steps:
Login → Select Company → Choose Opportunity Type → Enter Opportunity Information → Add Relevant Requirements → Review → Submit → ATN Review → Published/Status Updated.
05What information should I include when posting an opportunity?
An opportunity should contain enough information for another business to understand what is being offered or requested.
Depending on the opportunity type, information may include the opportunity title, category, description, products or services involved, target market or country, business requirements, desired partner or participant type, relevant dates, and appropriate contact or response instructions.
Information should be clear, accurate and business-related. Sensitive information that should not be publicly disclosed should not be placed in the public listing.
06How are opportunities reviewed and approved?
Business opportunities submitted through ATN may be reviewed before publication to help maintain relevance, quality and compliance with platform requirements.
ATN may review whether the submission is sufficiently complete, appropriately categorized, business-related, and consistent with applicable ATN content and participation policies.
ATN review does not constitute an endorsement, certification, financial verification or guarantee of the company, opportunity or potential business outcome.
You can monitor the submission status through the appropriate dashboard area.
07Can I contact the company that posted an opportunity?
Where the opportunity permits responses, eligible users should use the contact or response method provided on the opportunity detail page.
Where available, this may involve an ATN response form, an inquiry action, or another approved communication method.
Users should communicate professionally and provide enough relevant company information for the posting organization to evaluate the inquiry.
08What is the difference between a buyer, supplier, partner and investor opportunity?
These opportunity types represent different business objectives.
Buyer opportunities generally involve businesses seeking products or services. Supplier opportunities involve companies offering or seeking supply relationships. Partnership opportunities may involve distribution, representation, joint business development or other forms of collaboration. Investment opportunities involve projects, companies or ventures seeking appropriate investment-related participation.
An opportunity can sometimes involve more than one category. The posting company should select the category that best represents its primary objective.
09Are international business opportunities available?
Yes. ATN is designed as a global business platform, and Business Opportunities may involve companies, markets and projects from different countries.
Users may be able to identify opportunities by country, region or target market where that information is provided.
Businesses considering international transactions should independently evaluate applicable laws, regulations, taxes, customs requirements, sanctions, logistics, contracts and other requirements relevant to the countries and transaction involved.
10How can I increase the visibility of my business opportunity?
Start by creating a complete, accurate and clearly written opportunity listing with an informative title, appropriate category and enough information for qualified businesses to understand the opportunity.
Eligible businesses may also use ATN Global Visibility or other promotional services to obtain additional exposure where appropriate.
Advertising or promotional placement is separate from the underlying opportunity listing unless a specific ATN package states otherwise, and increased visibility does not guarantee responses or business results.
11What happens after I respond to a business opportunity?
After submitting a response or inquiry, the posting company can review the information provided and decide whether it wants to continue the conversation.
A response does not create a contract, partnership, transaction or obligation between the parties.
Companies should conduct their own due diligence, verify relevant information and establish appropriate agreements before making payments, sharing confidential information, investing funds, shipping products or entering into other commitments.
Where available, members may monitor their Business Opportunity activity through the Member Dashboard.
